Michel Flamme. Father of three, partner to one. Trained as an architect and printmaker, he evolved into a multidisciplinary visual artist. Driven by simplicity and freedom, both in life and in his work. A storyteller without a linear story. Feet firmly on the ground, head in the clouds.

Lines are the common thread running through his oeuvre. What began as a fascination rooted in architecture evolved into a lifelong quest for the essence of form and image. With just a few lines, a dot, or a circle, Flamme creates worlds where simplicity and depth meet. Behind his seemingly spontaneous compositions lies an exceptional sensitivity to rhythm, balance, and subtle emotion.

His paintings and sculptures invite the viewer to look without preconceptions. There are no imposed interpretations, no fixed meanings, and no straightforward narratives. Instead, Michel Flamme offers the freedom to make personal connections, awaken memories, and discover new stories. His art does not speak in answers, but in possibilities.

For nearly fifty years, Michel Flamme has exhibited his work both nationally and internationally. Since 2010, he has done so in close collaboration with Horus Gallery.
