ABOUT THE ARTIST
HORUS GALLERY
Jonas Leriche is a Belgian-born contemporary artist based in New York whose multidisciplinary practice explores themes of perception, beauty, and the tension between authenticity and illusion.
Following an early career in fashion photography, Leriche shifted his focus entirely to fine art, developing a distinctive visual language shaped by cinematic composition, refined craftsmanship, and a fascination with constructed realities. His background in fashion continues to influence his exploration of idealized beauty, surface, and emotional ambiguity.
Working across photography, sculpture, and mixed media, he creates immersive works that blur the boundaries between image and object. Through layered materials, reflective surfaces, and sculptural textures, his practice transforms photography into tactile, spatial compositions where materiality and narrative become inseparable.
Balancing visual seduction with underlying tension, Leriche's works evoke vulnerability, impermanence, and psychological depth. His work has been exhibited internationally at major art fairs, museums, and solo exhibitions in cities including New York, Dubai, Chicago, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Antwerp, and Saint Petersburg.
